Privacy
This is an information website with no accounts, no basket, and no advertising trackers. There is very little to disclose.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. We set no cookies, run no analytics script, embed no social media, and load nothing from third-party servers. The enquiry form sends nothing on its own; it opens your email program with the message written out and leaves the decision to you.
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs containing IP address, page requested, and time. They exist to keep the site online and to investigate abuse, and are deleted on the provider's standard schedule.
What we collect when you write
We keep what you send us: name, contact details, dates, and any requirements such as dietary needs, dogs, or access. We use it to reply and to look after you during a stay.
Enquiries are kept for up to twenty-four months. Stay records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for marketing, and nobody is added to a mailing list without asking.
Payment and identification
No payment details are collected here. Payment is taken at the house through our bank's terminal, and we never see or store full card numbers.
Identification shown at the card room door is checked visually and returned at once. It is never photographed, scanned, copied, or recorded anywhere.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold and receive a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete it, subject to legal record-keeping.
- Object to a use you disagree with, or ask us to restrict it.
- Complain to your national data protection authority.
Write to guest services and we will reply within thirty days.
Changes
Any change to this notice updates the date at the top of the page. Significant changes are also noted on the visit page for a month.
