Using this website means accepting the following. It is deliberately short and removes none of your statutory rights.
1. What this website is
An information website for Vellamor House. It describes the cottages, the cellar, the grounds, the neighbourhood, and how to contact us. It is not a reservation system and processes no money.
2. Enquiries and confirmation
Nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance by clicking. A stay exists only when we have written confirming specific dates, a specific cottage, and a total price, and you have replied accepting it.
Rates shown are guidance and vary by season. The figure written in your confirmation email is the one that applies.
3. Cancellation
Seven days before arrival for ordinary dates, fourteen days during harvest and public holidays. Your confirmation states which applies. Cancelling inside the window may incur one night's charge.
4. This is a working farm
- Agricultural machinery operates on the slope, including early mornings during harvest.
- Guests walk the vines, the paths, and the pond area at their own risk.
- Children must be supervised near the pond, the press house, and any machinery.
- Please close gates behind you and keep dogs on the lead near working areas.
5. Conduct
Quiet hours run from 22:30 to 07:30. Smoking is outdoors and away from the vines and the press house. Guests are responsible for damage they cause, and we may ask anyone threatening or harassing guests or staff to leave without refund.
6. The card room
Entry is restricted to people aged eighteen or over, or the legal age where they live if higher, with photographic identification required at every entry. Access is optional, physically separate from the cottages, and never included in any rate.
No gambling is offered, accepted, or arranged through this website. Venues in Aubrelle are independent businesses under their own licences and we are not responsible for them.
7. Accuracy
We keep this website current, but hours, prices, harvest dates, and town details change. Confirm anything you intend to rely on before you travel.
8. Liability
We accept liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence and for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Otherwise we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website.
